good going, internet dude, you actually made xenuria look good (relatively speaking), nobody thought that was possible Of course, goons defacing the monument with their logo was all in good fun? whether or not it was in good taste, fatbee sticker is in much better taste than this
Where's a almost not removable sticker better than almost permanent scratches? |

Moreover, we paid for this monument which is meant to last for eternity... yet we wasted our money on Aluminum that is easily scratched? This is a troll in itself. |

Removal of the scratches by any means is always going to show past evidence through discoloration, distortion of texture, etc. Can you not figure this out with your own brain ?
Have you yet tried to remove weather-prove stickers? The acids and solutions for that are nasty. And if this aluminum is so easily scratched, it wouldn't look well after such a treatment either.
Something else?

But there are metals in existence and which are not all that expensive that cannot be scratched that easily and profoundly. I would have expected that CCP pays at least enough money to ensure at least this much for a monument.
But then again it also shows how weak the community in fact is. |

You impress nobody. ed: Apparently the sticker came off no problem, yet the scratch will cost an entire replacement section. Geez, you are so right about that sticker being just as bad
Just look at this thread and the awesome reactions. Some are as low as this scratching.
Oh, nice, so they didn't use proper stickers. Good for them and the monument, because at least some people thought about their vandalism first and made it less terrible.
I stand by my point that this monument is a waste of money in its current form and material composition. |

One that scratches names, (allegedly) feigns twitter accounts to blame it on others, lots of hate and distrust, puts out quick verdicts ... yes, that sounds very much exactly like what CCP wants EVE to be. so, why is everyone complaining? |

Then what is it? And if it is not EVE related (which it clearly is, because it stands for the EVE Universe), why is everyone so particularly mad about this particular monument?

Because this isn't EVE. Don't bother, James. Carebears can't separate the game from real life. To them, every lost pixel is a dagger in their poor hearts. Everything you need to know about Rivr Luzade you can learn from his post at the bottom of the second page of this thread.
Well, with that problem I would not stand alone if people seem to go to such great lengths to accuse (allegedly) innocent bystanders of vandalism. |
